Central China Surface Treatment Circular Economy Industrial Park is a major investment promotion project of Jingzhou, as well as an important platform and carrier for the industrial transformation and high-quality development of Jingzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone (JETDZ). Since the completion of Phase I on November 8, 2020, 25 enterprises have signed into the park.

Jingzhou Ouhang Metal Surface Treatment Co., Ltd. is an automotive parts electroplating plant. The company that moved into Central China Surface Treatment Circular Economy Industrial Park in August 2020 is working on production equipment installation and commissioning, and is expected to go into operation after the Spring Festival.

Central China Surface Treatment Circular Economy Industrial Park is a key provincial project of Hubei Province in 2020, as well as the first environmental project between Kimou Environmental Holding Limited and Jingzhou. With a floor area of about 170,000 square meters, Phase I includes an electroplating production area, an electroplating wastewater treatment area, utility tunnels and public auxiliary works. The standard plant covers an area of about 72,000 square meters. The electroplating wastewater treatment area measures about 55,000 square meters and treats 5,000 tons of wastewater daily.

As the biggest feature of the park is internal cycling, the electroplating wastewater treatment area is regarded as the "heart" of the park and a key link of the internal cycle of wastewater treatment in the park. The area is installed with a non-powered artesian wastewater collection system. With the function of classified collection and unified regulation, the system can reduce energy consumption and save cost.

The investment promotion of the park is under way. JETDZ provides full-process follow-up services and tax preferences for enterprises that have settled in the park. Besides, the park has released a series of preferential investment promotion policies, conducted investment promotion through "online negotiation" and attracted more enterprises needing surface treatment to drive local industrial development.
